Following our recent List Pick 'Hot on the Heels of Love' and subsequent single 'You Shine on Me (feat. Boys)', Swedish songwriter and multi-instrumentalist HOLY (aka Hannes Ferm) has shared another otherworldly cut in 'Forget About Life'. Continuing carve his own unique soundscape, 'Forget About Life' is arguably one of Ferm's more simplistic pieces, pairing back the instrumentation to emphasise the drama of the 80s inspired drum kit. Rippling freely with a subtle auto-tune, HOLY's vocals are heartfelt and free, gliding easily over a sparse bed of spaced-out synthesizers. Serving as the third taster track from HOLY's forthcoming third album (due spring 2020), we'll be keeping our eyes peeled for more from this intriguing Scandinavian songsmith. -Holly Mullineaux
